This is the best part of the whole OCA. Relatively wide, high-quality surface, scenic, and not too many road crossings. It can be muddy at times, especially in the winter and spring but even in the summer. Recommendation: connect to Croton Lake Road on the south side of the reservoir — it's a gem.

Dirt trail that runs on top of the old Croton Aqueduct. there is also a short trail that runs down to the park at the foot of the dam
